Well the issue of gay marriage has come up in Virginia...And the federal government is involved...big surprise. I dont like the way they are going about the law, under the reasoning that they are currently using, because it is voted into one state it is being forced down other states throats. Under their current reasoning, Because marijuana has been legalized to purchase and use in Colorado, All other states would have to accept that law as well. If you want a law to be accepted on the federal level, it needs be voted on, on the federal ballot. Be careful what you wish for America. We are on a very slippery slope, where the federal government will be able to dictate everything...The very things that we fought against in the Revolutionary War! We are individuals. We live in individual states. And those individual states were guaranteed the right, by the Constitution, to pass their own laws
