Well the people of England and the monsters in Westminster all breathed a sigh of relief on Friday morning. Thank God thats all over and our wonderful country is still intact. Then the Labour party in Scotland had a celebratory party while the BNP and Orange Order rioted in George Square in Glasgow singing Rule Britannia and God Save the Queen. Normal service has been resumed. (Scratchy record noise) Erm, no. As I was promoting my song for independence I set up a Facebook page and amassed over a thousand friends. I had planned to close it down in the event of a No vote but there is more activity on the page than ever before. The Yes campaigners have already dusted themselves down and are planning the next phase of their indomitable movement. You see they are only 6% short of a majority as far as they see it, and if they continue on the curve they are on it won’t be long before they overcome this deficit. Wait a minute I hear you say, didn’t dishface Dave say it’s been settled for a generation. Yeah, well you may not have noticed but they don’t listen to Dave and there are a number of options open to them which are already being explored by their political and legal experts. The only way to really ensure that Scotland never leaves us is to join in with them and make our entire society a fair and just democracy, only then will they end their campaign. A group called the Common Weal which has emerged from the Yes campaign is collecting food bags for the poor, homeless and needy in the city centre. This is less than 72 hours after their defeat.
