Well, there is never a dull moment here at the Lounge. Today Sierra got to see her friends at Peachtree Corner Animal Clinic. She is a big fan of people, and apparently, cats. She met her first kitties today, and wiggled and yodeled and tried to get them to play through the cage. The kitties were kind enough not to hiss or swipe at her nose. Unfortunately it looks like Sierras lungs have not completely cleared. Considering we removed her from her antibiotics in preparation for her skin biopsy, Dr. Jackson and Dr. Schick had to have a little discussion about how to proceed. Because of the risk of illness from the infiltrates in her lungs, Sierra will have to go back on one of her antibiotics (she was on three.) The good news is we will be able to move forward with the biopsy even though she is on this one antibiotic. When we got home it was spa time. She is rubbed and scrubbed and is currently out cold in her box bedroom. (I hate the word crate.) Good night from the Lounge.
