Well these trips never cease to be amusing only this time it is not Wyndee Jones but still keeping it real with the Jones family we had the pleasure of enduring our Charleston trip with Susan Jones our hero. We had a wonderful evening last night and everything going as clock work and woke up this morning 4:30 got ready and everything rolling as normal. But every one knows that sometimes there are a few bumps in the road, well this morning I think our road needed some new pavement cause we had big pot holes on ours. Would love to share this with everyone it really took alot of pressure off of this morning for all of us so let me just say to begin with thank you Susan Jones you have made our trip and most stressful time more bearing. Lets let the journey begin as we finished dressing and hurried down stairs and had all of our belongings together and waiting for Susan to bring up the car so we could go and pick up our patient and his mom we turn to see Susan not in the car pulling up but Susan walking saying oh no my car wont crank well to our surprise we had to call April and Rion to catch the shuttle from the Ronald mcdonald house so then we are now trying to find a way to the hospital while Susan is getting the auto people there at the hotel. Meanwhile I am thinking of how we are going Susan sees an older couple on their way out the door to the hospital and ask if me and Missy Stone can ride there with them they let us so here we go. Well we get to the hospital April is already registering rion and she looks at me and says the shuttle doesnt run this early in the morning, I said well how did you get here she said in the back of a police car!!!! I said what? she said they called a policeman to pick us up from the corner of the street. I thought oh well we are all here, except poor Susan (where is Susan)? Well then we call her after they take Rion to surgery and she is lost trying to get to the hospital. Well needless to say April gets on the phone and guides her here at the hospital. I know this a long post but I had to share this humor with those of you today that may need a pick me up. Our day is going up and down at the time, and please keep the prayers coming as you see we need them really bad!!! LOL And I think we may need to have Susan committed maybe after all this. So we love the Jones family and thank them dearly for all the laughs and most of all for being with us through all of these trying times. Even though we road with strangers and the others road in the back of a police car we made it. LOL P.S. who needs the beach or the mountains we have more fun here!!
