Well, this is certainly a change of pace for the man who has made a hobby of going after Fox News hosts – Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, to name a few. by Taboola Sponsored Links Minorities Have Distinct Health Conc…PhRMA.org British actor and comedian Russell Brand has a new target in his sights: President Obama. You would have been laughed out of town six years ago if you had suggested that Brand would ever go after Barack Obama, particularly after the way topleaded with Americans to elect the man. What is interesting now is that Brand doesn’t hold back taking it to his one-time favorite politician. Mediaite reports After playing a clip of Obama discussing one of the “core principles” of his presidency, Brand shot back, “Well, it’s good that you’ve got some core principles in your presidency, because it’s beginning to look like you don’t have any principles at all.” But that’s just what he’s done in his latest edition of “The Trews” (“The True News”), as he takes on the President’s “tough language” regarding ISIS. Brand’s sophisticated argument for taking on the terrorist group: “Brutality begets brutality.” While Brand seemingly ignores that ISIS began the reign of terror now causing Iraqis and Syrians to live in constant fear, he argues that ISIS is only beheading journalists because America began launching air strikes on ISIS targets in Syria and Iraq. The Shiites were fighting the Sunni before the U.S. even existed as a nation. Maybe it’s possible that the U.S. can be blamed for that also, if people like Brand really think out of the box. Though we’re happy to see that Brand is not limiting his nonsense to only one political party, maybe the fans who have cheered him through his Fox News rants will finally see the “brand” he often spews more clearly. Warning: some strong language.
