Well today was a crazy day. Turns out I am allergic to something in these hot sauce sardines :P At work I decided to sample sardines before serving them to the public (because you cant talk something up youve never tried before) The initial thought after eating them was these are disgusting. So I threw out the rest of my sample, washed my hands and put on a new pair of gloves and got to work. Around 5 minutes into eating it I started to feel a little nauseous and my throat was a bit tingly. I just thought that it was due to the hot sauce portion of the sardines and the fact that they were gross. But around 15 to 20 minutes later the nausea was unbearable and my throat was swollen and I was wheezing. Quickly I threw all the samples I had into the trash and ran off to the bathroom to throw up then collapse on the floor and take my puffer. It didnt help. Someone then found me and took me to the first aid room, where a nurse practitioner who was shopping came and called an ambulance, then got someone to get an epi-pen from the pharmacy and stabbed me in the leg. Immediately I started to feel better, the adrenaline was helping. But they took me to the hospital for observation for four hours where they drugged me up on around 8 different pills :P I would very much like to thank the nurse practitioner who came in a took charge while I was incapacitated. I dont know your name but if you werent there things would have been a lot worse.
