Well today was a giant s@$& burger! Came home to let the dogs out at lunch and thought that our house had been broken into and the culprit kicked his way out of our back yard. Was on the phone with 911 when I see a tiny card sticking out of our front door with instructions to file a claim for damage. Apparently the recycle truck decided to run into a tree in the alley then kill our fence and cut a live wire to the house and then head along on their way. No phone call to alert us to the damage.....awesome. Lemme tell ya I made some phone calls and got special pleasure out of the lovely police man who schooled the recycle truck department manager on proper notification. And he also told the guy that the process sucks for me (the victim ). Added benefit was when the cop told the manager to help him fix my fence temporarily so my dogs would not run away. My cherry of the day was when I got a formal apology from the head office and then my dog turded on the carpet. ( remember that this was the reason I headed home in the first place). So looking forward to an awesome experience in the lengthy ridiculous process to get all fixed.
