Well without boots on the ground we are actively killing innocent people like Israel did in Gaza. We are also empowering ISIS by providing them with a recruitment campaign. Well done International Coalition of Intelligence, for well being so intelligent. Now if you put boots on the ground everyone there will only see you as evil murderers regardless of ISIS. Imagine if we just kept bombing occupied Europe during WW2 and didnt put boots on the ground. Truly amazing that civilian targets are being hit. If someone bombed me and my neighbors I would bring the fight to those responsible. Truly sad times. How many children where murdered? Let me guess ISIS was hiding behind them. At least fight like professionals ( I would say men but in todays world it is more appropriate to say professionals.) Romeo Dalliare is a smart man. Oh but he is a Liberal Senator so our Government cant possibly listen to him, oh wait Stephen Harper cant listen to anyone including his own representatives except those in his inner circle. Imagine what it would be like if Police just bombed criminals using drones and police helios regardless of who was in the area. Did bombing Pakistan take out Osama Bin Laden? No it took boots on the ground and in a coordinated military operation. If we were really serious we would send in every special forces unit supported by all available regular forces in support from all coalition countries involved, in a massive operation to arrest the whole situation. Dropping bombs we have a Gaza style operation. Oh I will add one more thing our special forces guys need to look like them and dress like them as close as possible except in one way, our guys need to not look like ISIS on monitoring/survalence equipment so we dont have friendly fire incidents. Tech markers for all friendlies. ISIS doesnt where identifiable uniforms like Nazis so the tactics need to change. I am sure more than 80% of all military leadership agree in all coalition countries agree that boots are needed on the ground to completely overwhelm ISIS. General Romeo Dalliare is right and if you asked General Hillier he most likely would say the same thing.
