Well yesterday was without a doubt not just one the highlights of my trip......one of the most mind blowing of my life. Driving accross Vancouver Island in terms of the scenery and endless breathe taking landscapes is something I will never forget and highly recommend! But if you want to take it to another level and experience something truly unique then visit Telepgraph Cove located in the far north of Vancouver Island and prey for good weather with the chance to see the infamous Grizzly in there natural habitat. Not only did we avoid gale force winds when we motored 3 hours acrross to the isolated Knight Inlet..... we were graced with one of the best viewing days the guide had experienced in the last 12 years! We not only saw 12 individual grizzlies in near perfect viewing conditions, grazzing on the newly shooted spring grass and foraging for eels at low tide along the foreshore. But we saw a female grizzly feeding here young cubs literally pozing for us while anchored only meters away. One of the most humbling experiences of my life and something truly special our group will never forget. Complemented by the most knowledgeable and passionate guide imaginable.......made this unique experience exceed every expectation well and truly!!! Partying with the local guides and cooking freshly caught sockeye salmon over an open fire made the day pretty match as perfect as it gets! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!
