Well, you cant tax the poor, because they dont have anything, but you cant tax the rich, because they will take their ass and their assets off shore. Wealthy Americans are renouncing US citizenship in record numbers nowadays, to emigrate out to low tax countries, same as transnational corporations. That leaves the middle class to have to foot the bill, and they are rapidly approaching the ranks of the poor. Its cannibalistic. If government needs more revenue, the focus needs to be on academic R&D at State universities. Let the children have a childhood, and stay out of school until age five at kindergarten.
