Went in Belks today to buy an item and was approached by a very nice lady. Only one problem, she was hanging way low on both her tops. I almost had to talk to her sideways. Then I ask her if she went to church yesterday and she said she did. Then I ask her if it helped her. She replied it did help her. As I left I thought It may have helped her somewhere I could not see, because it sure did not help her where I could see. But then that seems to be the norm these days. The more flesh these people show the better they seem to like the stares, (not from me). One more thing, you almost cant blame the people because most churches do not have descent dress codes anymore. Why? because the pastors let anything go now. Signs everywhere, Come as you are. What does this mean? Just show all the flesh you want? Sad to say I am not necessarily talking about a particular church, I make reference mostly to Pentecostal Churches that in days gone by they had strict standards on dressing. All the men and women dressed descent when going to church. Not anymore. Oh I know all have not went this way but most have. While you are reading this post remember one thing. Preachers like me will soon be off the scene and there most likely will not be anyone to fill our shoes. Maybe a few. The rest of the story is this, most of the time if you find a church that holds a descent dress code they look down their noses at you as if to say, I am better than you because I dress right. So where do we go from here? Dont ask me I just speak what I want and live by my standard as best I can. I am not judging or condemning anyone, however, I have not posted anything that I cant back up with scripture. I will not get many, if any, Likes, on this post but I know you have read it.
