Went to Claremore, OK with Carol Chesher to run in slack Friday morning. In the physical realm, I should have just stayed home. But spiritually I got a lot out of it. It is always a treat to hang out with Carol. She keeps me grounded in my faith and reminds me of all that God has done. I was reminded yesterday that when God says Im going to bless you he doesnt always mean with money. I am the one that makes that connection. Needless to say, I spent some time in prayer asking forgiveness for presuming to know what God has in mind for me (what arrogance on my part!) and asking for a new start. Thankfully He is faithful and will forgive and keep taking me back. Great thing though, I got home to a little over an inch of rain on our dry pastures. Praise God for his blessing and provision.
