Went to University of Kentucky Opera Theatre production of Les Mis last night. It was a wonderful evening. Alan really enjoyed it. It is double cast and we saw the 2nd night cast labeled Black Cast. Holly Nicole Dodson played Eponine. She is a mezzo-soprano and I thought she was awesome. I might become a groupie. Such a clear voice and great enunciation. You could understand every word even when she was dying. Lots of good voices and great production values, but for me she was a stand out.
