Went to serve a call today in Vaitogi, when I arrived at the scene I observed an elderly man approaching from a house with the lights off. He then asked me if I could help him cook his food because the power was cut since Monday. I felt heartbroken because I pictured one of my family members in need like he was. I then went to the store bought a couple of candles, bottle of water, and then headed back to Vaitogi where I proceeded to cook his meal and kept him company until he finished eating. As I was about to leave, he walked over with a BIG SMILE asked for my name and said Faafetai tele lava ia oe le atalii, ia faamanuia tele le Atua i lou tiute o le puipuiga o le saogalemu lautele o le mamalu o le atunuu.
