Were excited to announce that #Issue_2 of FINDs digital journal is now live on f-in-d. The second issue of FIND features our first round of FIND Fellows who are deepening our understanding of the UAE. Each Fellow explored a different aspect of the UAE landscape. Reem Falaknaz spent time in the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah documenting the topography and the mountain dwellers that continue to call this place home. Yasser Elsheshtawy mapped the use of public space of Sector 13 in Abu Dhabi through photography, time-lapse video, and data visualisation projects. Roberto Lopardo used video for the first time in his 24 hour mapping series of cities in the Middle East to capture the city of Abu Dhabi. Each Fellow took a new approach to their work and reflected on their process in a series of notebook posts throughout their fellowships. Issue 2 also includes projects by NYUAD Professor Pascal Menoret, Emirati artist and NYU ITP student Salem Al-Mansoori and FIND Design Director Sherri Wasserman, and a collaboration between Reem Falaknaz and Rym Tina Ghazal.
