Were looking into an individual insurance plan for me. We started at the healthcare marketplace to just get an idea of whats out there as far as monthly cost, deductibles, out of pocket maximums etc. We were pleasantly surprised. But those things do me no good if these plans dont work well with my very expensive RA drug-but Steve and I had a hard time navigating the specialty drug section. Im hoping humira can help me understand more when I call their hotline tomorrow. Its a &1500/ month prescription that I currently only pay $5 for with my insurance and the drug companys assistance program thats not financially based. So ultimately I have to find a plan that will continue to work with the drug companys assistance program so I can get my med at a reduced cost. Anyone have any insight on individual plans out there? Please no opinions on obamacare... I just need affordable insurance that meets my needs not a political FB argument:-)
