Weve got to stop with the CreditKarma referrals, people. Even if you SHOULD be worrying about a credit score as someone who should be trying to build wealth (which you shouldnt), you must understand that your credit score is not available on the internet. AT ALL. The consumer score that is being touted around has no bearing on anything youre trying to do (if you were supposed to even be doing those things to begin). Its not your auto loan FICO, your mortgage FICO etc. Credit karma isnt selling you a real score so youre getting a sub fake of a sub fake. Youre getting a transunion score which wouldnt be your credit score if it was your credit score. They really made it a point to get people on this one! And credit karma is not free the same as mint/ is not free. As someone that works in advertising, let me assure you, nothing you think is free is free. Every time you log into something trying to get you to believe your fake credit score has risen and youre bombarded with offer on offer on offer to tear you apart from your money, you will pounce. This is how I get paid during the day and how Credit Karma also wouldnt be in business. Stop hurting yourself. Stay away from the credit score b.s. and instead focus on how much money you have in the BANK (mint). Credit scores only tell how much money you most likely DONT have in the bank.
