We’d love your feedback about ENRICHMENT CLASSES! We are looking to add new enrichment classes in the coming year to our current offerings. We have recently had Ballet & Tap dance and Baby & Me Ballet (taught by instructors from Dance Elite & Music), Spanish and Mandarin language (taught by Sponge) and PEPS has Baby Peppers classes here. Also Fit4Moms exercise here a couple evenings a week. All of these we plan to continue. In the past we had Art classes and Science classes and can bring them back if there is sufficient interest. And of course we have our 3 hour morning PlayHappy Preschool class taught by our teachers Ms. Laurie and Ms. Caroline. We also do a Summer Camp program so we are offering a year-round early education program that many area families are loving. What else can we offer? What is there a need for that you don’t see in the community? It would need to be something with sufficient demand and enough students to warrant creating a new class and paying a teacher for it. We have a dance studio, multi-purpose room and a preschool room available at times for classes. We prefer to have an ongoing series of classes (i.e. 8 weeks) vs a one off class. We also like to bundle together in the fee a class with playtime ($6 to $9 value) in our play area if possible. We are looking into art, music and yoga. Classes for toddlers and preschool/kindergarten aged children. Also Mommy/Daddy & Me classes for babies and toddlers. Ideally these classes would occur weekdays in the morning or afternoon (or after school if that makes sense). During our weekends we are busy with birthday parties so there aren’t rooms available for weekend classes other than our Saturday Sponge classes. Evening classes are possible if there is demand but fyi the play area and cafe would be closed. Also if you have suggestions of wonderful teachers, please connect us! We have the clientele, marketing and enrollment process available and just need some fabulous teachers to come in once a week or so to teach the class. Sometimes it works out for us to work with existing businesses and organizations but sometimes due to their franchise rules and set up, it doesn’t.
