What Do You Do? What do you do when all seems lost? What do you do when it seems as though the situation you face is about to destroy you? What do you do when it seems as though there is no hope, and the only logical solution is to surrender, to give up? My dear if youve asked yourself these questions, then youre definitely not alone. I have asked myself these same questions when often times I come face to face with the harsh realities of this life. (Please read 2 Chronicles 20: 1-3 and 12) Jehoshaphat, when he was king of Judah, faced a situation where he had not the slightest idea of what he was to do. To him, defeat by the enemy seemed to be the only plausible scenario. Faced with all this, what did he do? Did he submit to his fears? Did he accept defeat? No! He decided to seek Gods face in the matter. (Please read 2 Chronicles 20: 3-12) When the troubles of life come against us (often times like a flood, threatening to drown us), we need not feel helpless and hopeless. All we need to do is call upon our Father, and not just tell Him what were facing, but remind Him of His word, of His promises to us, just as Jehoshaphat did. When you do this, do you know what happens? (Please read 2 Chronicles 20: 14-30) God, Himself, comes down upon that situation(s) and turns it (them) completely around to your favour. Do you know whats so wonderful about this - you dont need to do a single thing. All you need to do, is just trust Him and have faith. Its as simple as that. I know you must have heard all this so many times in the past, but I ask this of you - try Him today, and see Him work so wonderfully in that situation of yours. Remember, you dont need to do a single physical thing, just trust Him, think positively always and speak positively at all times no matter how bad it may get or seem.... And I promise you....., youll smile a smile that you havent been able to in quite awhile. Take care and remember he loves more than youll ever know. Now smile that beautiful smile of yours, and say: It is well.
