What Morgan is saying is something to think about! How many races and cultures still have hyphens in front of their names. Why cant all Americans be called Americans on Census and other demographic data collections. We no longer ask if one is Italian, German, Jewish, Anglo, etc. Why do Asian, and African Americans have to be treated differently. And Hispanics of American descent are counted as white but still identified by their origin and receiving same poor treatment as other minorities. The fact is American Indians are only true Americans. Every other race is a minority but now they are grouped together for political purposes and for purpose of racial divisiveness. But some of these members of other races remember a time when they were treated just as badly as other minorities because of their heritage! We really need to rethink this tired divisive method of separating certain groups for purposes of racial profiling and unfair treatment. And then we could ALL focus on an INCLUSIVE AMERICAN history!
