What a crazy, amazing 12 months it has been. One year ago I moved into my little paint shop in Hollywood. I wasnt busy enough to really need it yet. I am a firm believer in using visualization to achieve ones goals. You need to know exactly what you want and you need to believe you can make that happen. It needs to be cemented in your brain. I KNEW I was GOING to need that shop. I saw myself needing that shop. Then, I set my mind to getting busy with being busy. Knowing where you want to go is of zero value unless you can get yourself in action to get there. 12 months later and I am so busy with this business full time (well over 40 hours a week actually) that I am looking for a new larger space. I have totally outgrown my little shop. I have to say, that I am pretty proud of myself. I really love painting these helmets. I feel like all of my years as a professional artist in other fields prepared me to make this business a success. I still have a long way to go to get where I want and I have a lot of trigger time behind an airbrush before I get anywhere NEAR as good as I should be but, I really cant complain. Just goes to show that with some self belief, you can take a just a bit of ability, hard work and perseverance and build something really cool out of it. Id love to say I will miss my little shop but, for those of you who have been there you know why I wont miss it. HaHa!!
