What a day!!!!!! Spent the first half of saturday in spring valley at a car show, perfect weather. Drove back closer to home and stopped at East side speed shop open house. Drooled over some badass hot rods and ate some great smoked pork. Mmm mmm good, happy belly lol. Then the weather started blowing in so we cut our visit short. Got back to the highway and out of nowhere my tranny threw a tantrum and gave me the BIG F U, as it started to rain. Called a friend with a trailer, who was cruising with us all day. Poring hard by the time he got back to us. Soaked, loaded up, and strapped down, we wanted out of the rain. Forgot the ramps hanging off the trailer realized it a couple miles down the hwy. Lost one ramp, had to go back and search. Ok found it, lets get home! Nope, half way home we blew out a trailer tire, no spare. Called another friend who was close and had his trailer. We dropped his trailer and pulled a wheel. Went back, changed the tire on the trailer hauling my truck. On our way finally. Unloaded it at the tranny shop so he can fix the tranny he built less than a thousand miles ago. Finally home about 9, just in time to hear the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert from my driveway and have a couple well deserved beers. What a day!!!!!!
