What a day for BERG Racing. Started P8 and ended up p4 after big wreak at turn 5. Cody Ellworth did a great job avoiding and saving the car. Were in great shape but then Cody calls in no breaks, pedal is going right to the floor. Slow lap in and lucky he was even able to get the car back. Green flag stop to repair and Corey is in the car. Crew does an incredible job fixing but we still go a lap down. Corey is in hot pursuit and turning laps faster than any car in the field. We get back on the lead lap but still pretty far behind. No way we can make it to the end on fuel. Corey is out of radio range when we call him in for fuel on the next yellow, another green flag stop and back to last car on the lead lap again. 20 min to go and once again the 50 is the fastest car on the track. 10, 9, ...3rd! And then we ran out of time. I cant express how proud I am of the team. Persistence grabbed this lump of crap we were handed and made it into a podium finish. Thank guys! REDCOM, ColorTrack, Vintage Seats, Stillhouse, Red Line for all the support.
