What a day, most of the afternoon at emergency animal hospital w Zoe. Being told they cant promise she will make it was devastating. I think I used up all their tissue boxes. She is admitted and staying overnight. Being treated with IV fluids, has low blood pressure, on antibiotics, on stomach protectants and they will try to get her to eat tonight. One bout with diarrhea but she stopped vomiting. The test for Addisons came back negative so on to ulcer and cancer testing. Still trying to control her chronic kidney issues at same time. I have to say I now know what people mean by dogs are your children. It may seem silly to people but I felt pure heartbreak and devastation just thinking we might lose her. She has been such an amazing dog to us and has brought such joy and love. We thank you all who reached out today with special prayers and blessings for her well being. Keep them coming the next 24hrs. Hugs.
