What a day on the campus of Illinois College! On Monday I officially opened the 186th academic year during ICs Opening Celebration. First-year and transfer students experienced their first academic convocation with faculty in full regalia. My address was titled, Heres Your Chance - Make it Count. I encouraged all of our students to engage fully in their education, to work hard, to open themselves to new experiences, and to be ambassadors for Illinois College wherever they go in the world. Classes begin on Tuesday --- its time to get started!
