What a difference a mile makes! Small storms affected Oklahoma City and Norman on Saturday with some areas receiving more than an inch or rain while nearby areas received little or no rainfall. In Oklahoma City, if you live between South 89th Street and North 10th Street and between Pennsylvania and Bryant Avenues, chances are you received between 0.75 and 2.5 of rain on Saturday. But if you lived a mile or two away from this area, rainfall was likely 0.10 or less. In Norman, if you lived between Robinson Street and Tecumseh or Franklin Roads and west of 24th Avenue Northeast, a quick inch or two of rain likely fell while other areas of the city got little or no rain, including the National Weather Center in south Norman.
