What a fantastic evening! Dr Andrew Frukacz wishes to formally welcome Dr Jeremy Cumpston to the anima clinica: Health and Wellbeing Specialist Clinic at 153 Durham Street Bathurst. Dr Frukacz was absolutely delighted with the incredible support from so many great businesses and individual and wishes to thank all involved in welcoming Dr Cumpston to our health and wellbeing family. We are delighted to be supporting the dynamic, groundbreaking and unique work of such an incredibly skilled and generous medical colleague. anima clinica would also like to acknowledge the apology from Mayor Mr Gary Rush who is currently out of the country developing opportunities for Bathurst and at the same time thank Councillor Dr Jess Jennings for officially opening the anima clinica: Health and Wellbeing Specialist Centre on the night. Dr Jennings is a passionate advocate and supporter of the future prospects for Bathurst as a national and international tourist destination. His vision echoes the anima clinica vision of Bathurst as a leading healthy life-style destination hub. We would also like to thank Mr Ashley Bland Sustainability Manager for the Flannery Centre whom we were privileged to have speak about the thought and love that went into developing such a wonderful Bathurst venue. The evening was wonderfully managed by the very talented Maria Kemper the Service Coordinator for the Flannery Centre so a very special thank you to Maria and her team for the smooth running of the evening. Again the Flannery Centre is a perfect example of ”built-environment-sustainability” a vision and ethos totally akin to the anima clinica vision of “health and wellbeing sustainability”. The food for the evening was from the Bathurst Wholefood Co-operative and beautifully presented by Christine Le Ferve and the Bishop’s Court Estate family. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our partner organisation BCE and Christine and her team for their support, not only for the evening but for their support in our vision of developing Bathurst as a leader in the health and wellbeing market place. Bishop’s Court Estate also did a fabulous job in accommodating our VIP guest presenters for the evening and we thank them for that. The wines for the evening were all from our local vignerons and how fantastic they were, another Bathurst blessing we have to showcase. We had a number of health and lifestyle guest speakers including Yogini Jan Green from Pranayoga and Luke Howard from Bathurst Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Centre. Both speakers provided information on the benefits of exercise, yoga, meditation and early intervention of pain management. Next we were privileged to have Nikki Vezza. Nikki represents Ultraceuticals and Ultra MD. Nikki presented really thought provoking information from the peer-reviewed research findings of Dr Geoffrey Heber and his team Heber Davis, on the science that is the foundation for the doctor’s only range Ultra MD. Nikki spoke about the importance of skin health and the significance of using medically validated cosmeceutical to maintain and protect skin barrier function. Finally, we had a wonderful presentation and a number of incredible demonstrations from Dr Jeremy Cumpston. I have been in contact with all the volunteer models form the evening and have follow-up photos of their treatments which we will be posting over the next few days. Thank you so much to all our outstanding volunteers. Dr Cumpston showcased the science and delicate aesthete techniques of a number of medically based treatments he will be providing in Bathurst starting on the 21st of May. Please stay tuned and I will be providing further detailed information on the many whole health treatments and procedures Dr Cumpston will be providing. This is a very unique opportunity for the health and wellbeing of our region. Two lucky guests from the evening received the two anima clinica gifts and we would like to keep you posted on their health and dermal journeys. Finally Dr Cumpston has provided us with unique treatment offers for his next visit on the 21st of May, so please stay tuned and I will re-post those details ASAP. Over the next few days we will be making our donations to the two charitable organisations our event supported, Daffodil Cottage and R-U-OK? (Farmers) The money was raised from the proceeds of sales from the Ultraceutical and Ultra MD products many thanks to everyone who supported us in that endeavour. In conclusion and on behalf of Dr Andrew Frukacz and myself I would like to thank our wonderful anima clinica staff, Darrell Johnson, Kellie O’Shea, Victoria Bonham, Holly Johnson and Jessica Davidson and our clinic consultants Heather Larnach and Tami Lowe and Karyn Taylor from Indigo Event Marketing; our special guest presenters Jan Green, Luke Howard, Nikki Vezza and Dr Jeremy Cumpston and our partner organisations Amazing Bathurst including Bathurst Wholefood Co-op and our local Vigneron. Finally but by no means least a very special thank you to Christine Le Ferve from Bishop’s Court Estate. As always please support local! Regards Nadia Zanco anima clinica
