What a great last day in Turkey! Exploring first the Lycian ruins of Patara, and then hiking our last section of the Lycian Way along Roman Aquaducts and beautiful pine forests. Then just now ending with a super dinner of BBQ sea bream accented with the local anise liquor, green label Raki. Wow. I cant believe everything we 12 ladies have done in the last 3 weeks! Turkey is a wonderful country! Thank you to our trip organizer Shirley Smith and to all the local guides who brought ancient and modern Turkey to life for us: Senem in Istanbul, Mustafa in Cappadocia, Can in Ephisus, and Cenk Metinkaya for Lycia. WOW. The best guides in all of Turkey, thats for sure!
