What a neat time I had today teaching in the Redbird FMX: A Japanese gentleman, who, works on GUAM came in and wanted to sharpen some skills. He is working on his Instrument Rating. Because the Redbird Sim has an international database, I was able to help him execute an NDB approach into Guam. Surprising thing: We have the Cygnus system from Redbird feeding position data via a Bad Elf GPS to my iPad and the Garmin Pilot actually had the VFR Sectional covering Guam, Tinian and Siapan so I was able to monitor his flight there!
