What a night. We all left late today to go to Amarillo. We were going after G-Mans truck that has been in the shop. Made it there just fine, and got the truck. We decided we would stop and get something to eat . We decided Burger King would be it as we could drive in there eat and be on our way home. Several calls from friends in Sunray was telling us what was going on in Sunray. So we sit in the truck and ate decided we would ride it out for awhile. I really dont know what is worse Amarillo Blvd , or a storm. The verdict is still out on that one. We loaded up and I drove my Tahoe and followed G-Man and Steve. Before the bridge we pulled over and waited for awhile as it was not looking to good ahead. Left again and got past the bridge, then we pulled over at the Crawford Ranch as it was raining cats and dogs. We all thought ok lets roll some more then at Masterson it was a real ride. High High winds. It was all I could do to keep the Tahoe on the road. Slowly we finally made it to Dumas. Then the 18 miles to Sunray, but it seemed like 118 miles. Im exhausted. LOL !! Thank you Lord for getting us all home safe and sound. I am so thankful for the rain. Praise the Lord.
