What a refreshing thing to hear. So many in the black community are not willing to state the obvious. While it is true that their is negative reaction of the police toward blacks it is also true that the amount of crime perpetrated is coming from black and Latino populations. While many understand the reasons why this does nothing to change the circumstances. Until the crime and violence issues and bad attitudes toward authorities are addressed from within the community things will never change. Blaming others for someone bad behavior is basically wrong and is only done because they deflecting from themselves and refuse to take accountability for their own actions. The one thing that stands out the most is if you have a disrespect for someone or something your body language as well as attitude speaks and sets up a scenario for failure to resolve any issue peacefully and quietly. Placing a blanket condemnation on police because of a few bad apples serves no purpose. No one denies that there has been a history of abuse and inequality towards minorities in this nation, but in this day and age I cannot say that those issues are to the degree that stops anyone from doing what they want as long as they get the tools to do so. The problem here is not about racism its about generational breakdown of family structures caused from several streams of influence and is complex to say the least. So where does it start to change ? In the home and thats the problem. Wisdom, morality, and common sense have all taken the back seat to emotions and failure to be accountable.
