What a wonderful day. How can such a heartbreakingly sad occasion be filled will so much happiness, laughter, butterflies and sunshine.........but it was. Thank you to everyone who came along to give my wonderful Dad the send off he so rightly deserved. We couldnt believe how many people were there. And thank you for giving us strength to bear it....surprisingly there wasnt a snot bubble in sight. The love that poured out for my Dad was overwhelming....how lucky am I to have had such an Incredible Dad. Mum and Dads little house was fit to bursting...with people queuing in the front garden to get in..... So many cars parked outside.....apologies to the neighbours. When we counted up the collection box we have over £300 to donate to Macmillan and Poppy Scotland. Thank you folks. So now the healing starts, the long laborious road to acceptance and realisation. Were blessed to have such amazing family and friends to help us through.
