What a year! Ive been so blessed all through 2014. In the saxophone world, from winning the first place in my universitys chamber music competition to being a semi-finalist of my first saxophone competition in the Sg Woodwind Festival, to performing as a soloist with my alma mater, the Jurong Junior College Alumni Band (Thanks for the opportunity, Raene Lim and Ong Wilson :) ), to meeting people from all over the world at the 4th Jean-Marie Londeix International Saxophone Competition, to playing in the 4th Singapore Saxophone Symposium along others. A massive thank-you to my saxophone teacher, Tarko for all the (life and saxophone) lessons all through 2014. Forged new/closer friendships with Emily, Kevin, Anthony, Justin, Hayden, Lidia, Mathew, Jye and maintained long distance relationships with Kay, Rachael, Xiangyi, Twinkle, Gracia, Sarah, Matt, Ali, Joel, Kong Yong, Nuan Qi, Cheah Hee, ..list goes on, sorry if Ive missed you. Met and fell in love with Joel which also equates to a lot of delicious beers, rad sports (not cricket), countless brunches, first-rate companionship and of course two more happy people on the planet. Definitely not forgetting how incredibly thankful I am to graduate, thanks mum and dad ( May, Khei Hong) for all your support all through the years. I wonder what 2015 brings! To end off, heres a video of the lovely Leigh Harrold and myself performing Schmitts Legende at concert class on the 23/10/14, enjoy! x https://youtube/watch?v=aWYlEUI7XCo
