What an EXCELLENT fun night! Thank you all for coming - it was a pleasure dancing and listening with you all. Of course, an event like this cant work without a team of excellent peeps! Firstly, and most importantly, big thanks to the volunteers: Teena Hanson, Michael Jones, Laura Ceaser, Bec Kummerfeld, Jonathon Godwin, Hannah Nelthorpe, Natalie Ryan, Adam Celiban, Dani Emery and Graeme McGregor: without these people setting up the room, working the door and then tidying everything away, nothing would have happened. Thank you to all the people who offered their assistance during the night, and who quietly did little jobs: We saw you. We think youre awesome. Mad props to Justine Kinkade for DJing the band breaks and generally being a DJing QUEEN. Much appreciation to Dave from Atomic PA for making a tricky room sound great. Thanks to Adam Long for MCing at a moments notice (and doing a top shelf job). Much appreciation to the Ladies Independent Practice Society and the Sensible Dancers for entertaining us with their performances: BEST. And finally, a thousand thank yous to Professor Cunningham and his Old School! Such fabulous music! The band was, of course, Adrian Cunningham leading a group of great Australian musicians: Geoff Power (trumpet), Mark Barnsley (trombone), Peter Locke (piano), Sam Rollings (guitar), Stan Valacos (bass), and Anthony Howe (drums).
