What an amazingly awesome weekend weve had in the Brown HQ. In my hometown, back in Venezuela, we set our Christmas decorations on Nov 18, and we have kept that tradition, regardless of where we are. So it all started with all the family getting together on Thursday afternoon to decorate away (i confess i spent most of the time in the kitchen making some rice pudding with fresh coconut milk to keep our Christmas energy up, and bake a lovely Fall inspired cake and Chickpeas blondies to share). Friday was my final day of class for the Childbirth Educator course (yeeeeiiiii, i now need to read a bunch of books, watch 2 births and pass the exam to get certified!) and later was another round of tidying up the house and decorating. And today? Breakfast with my boys, little family shopping (we have the tradition also to get the house super pretty for Christmas so we were getting some things to pamper out home), and then a great trip to Semaisma with our bikes. We had a picnic and enjoyed the amazing weather. Matt even got in the beach! It was awesome! I feel my batteries recharged to begin a new week with new clients and more chances to support more and more people in reaching their wellness goals. What else can i ask?
