What do *HOT*-*FRESH*-*NOW* Krispy Kreme Donuts and my Cycle Diet (abelcyclediet/welcome/ ) have in common? Read here to find out: Josh Shailes 5 hrs ago· Copenhagen, Denmark The cycle-diet in my mind must be one best ways to consistently stay in good shape while enjoying the necessary indulgences of life when they arise. Ive been a few yrs on the CD now and I am able to take off; all of the supposed holy days (we have a truck-load in socialist Denmark), all b.days, vacations including spontaneous long wkends etc. and still stay in good shape. And I was not born into privilege in terms of genetics either (a chubby kid/teen). and I am not huuuuge by any means - and when I say take off, I mean eating more kcals on those occasions than most would eat in a wk. I have just returned from about 5-6 wks off diet where most days were probably upwards of 5-10.000 kcals of junk food (krispy Kreme, cheap and amazing Asian dishes, svendsens ice cream etc) and after a wk back on diet I look better than I did before going on vacation. I finished most nights with a dozen krispy Kreme doughnuts and a pint or two of ice cream after a large main meal to give some idea. I also took half of that time off training as well. Of course ive been on the CD for quite a few yrs so this affords me more leeway in terms of time-off that I can take etc while being able to jump straight back on the CD. I also have been training under Scott for almost 7 yrs or so now since I was a wee pup and have gradually developed probably 10 fold the work capacity during that time and have developed I believe a responsive metabolism (at least potentiated as far as my genetics will allow). This along with the guidance all adds to a nice metabolic environment conducive to the aforementioned all for just 6 hrs a wk in the gym, which as I just read now, is about the same time that the current and recently crowned crossfit champ girl (aka the fittest girl in the world :P) spends on a daily basis training. fittest apparently is completely disconnected from the psyche as is explicated by her sentiment and assertions regarding the discourse on crossfit. I personally can settle for being in pretty good shape and spending a month or so in Thailand subsisting almost entirely off 10cent krispy Kreme doughnuts.
