In light of the suicides of so many transgendered brothers and sisters I would like to let others know that they are not sideshow to be viewed, they are people to be experienced. Do not sensationalize their transition because that does not define them. Do not be insensitive and dont assume you know anything about their struggle. I am a gay man and could never imagine the internal struggle that so many of my trans brothers and sisters go through every day. To all my trans friends, I love you but I will not name you by name because it is not the most important aspect of my friendship to you. My constant hope for your happiness is all that I care about.
