What do you guys think of Martingale(or half-check) collars? As I have one for my 6 month old Great Dane. When not in use its a very loose fitted collar, but at the tightest it goes, I make sure it can only go at the circumference of his neck. It doesnt tighten any more than that so it doesnt restrict his breathing at all. I cant use a clip collar as im always terrified its going to break if he suddenly rushes away(generally when a dog goes off at him, he gets a bit uneasy and tries to rush away.. Working on that and were getting there) and he can somehow undo the buckle collars. This collar has been great with my boy and I make sure to adjust it regularly. So I was just curious what you guys thought of them? Not trying to start an argument here, just wondering if anyone else uses them.. One of my other dogs also has a martingale and my third has a buckle(because she doesnt get walked often)
