What dose it mean to fall from GRACE? First let me tell you what it doesnt mean, it dose not mean that when you commit or fall into sin you have fallen from grace, remember that the Bible says, Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: (Romans 5:20). Grace is greater than sin. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace, (Romans 6:14). When you understand the gospel of grace, you will not function in sin but in righteousness. When you talk like this, people with a religious mindset immediately say, well youre just giving people a license to sin. Not so fast my friend! Last I checked, people were sinning without license! Hear me my friend Im not advocating sin. Now the meaning of fallen from grace: when you depend on your self-efforts and performance to obtain the blessings of God, righteousness, holiness, success and victory etc..., you have just fallen from grace and Jesus Christ has become of no value to you, beloved this is serious. Now that is the meaning. Christ is become of no effect (Mine: no value) unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (Mine: self-effort and performance); ye are fallen from grace, (Galatians 5:4). You see there is no mention of sin in this scripture. If you believe that you are justified by the law (By your doing, effort or performance) you have fallen from grace. Beloved beware of self-efforts and performance. Its all about the finished work of Christ!
