What happened in Nigeria happened HERE. Its so easy for us to say isnt that a shame what happened to them, and then order a iced-vanilla latte and not have another thought about it. But I know that what the great metaphysician Jesus said what you do to the least of my brothers you also do to me to be a TRUTH. We all exist because of each other, we all share the same air, the same water, the same food, the same laughter and the same pain. We have a duty as world citizens to make this as BIG of a deal as Miley Cyruss MTV award performance or as big as Lance Armstrong cheating to win. Those are OUR little girls. So when they are raped, beat and abused, WE feel that. This is not the time to point the finger at the bad men and say it is their fault, because honestly it is us who agreed to and operate in a society that allows millions to go to bed hungry every night, that funds wars so corporations can get minerals for free on the backs on the unsuspecting Africans. As my late great mentor Dr King says We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.
