What is our lives that we feel we need to boast of anything? Why do we feel compelled to show off and try to outdo each other with nice houses, cars, fashion, fit bodies, or even our children? Where then does our focus lie? I want instead to be humbled and to think of myself as more lowly than everyone else, so that I may love each person I come into contact with better. Lord knows this is hard to do. How often do we revert back to old habits and think more highly of ourselves and feel we deserve better? I know we are all awesome in our own way, but imagine if we focused on each others awesomeness instead of our own....
