What is the purpose of an out-cross? Out-crossing is something that is not being done as it should be in the bully world. We are a big advocate of line breeding. The key to it is to have an out-cross. Line breeding is done to lock in traits that you want. The same can be done with In Breeding. The problem I am seeing is that there is more inbreeding to get popular dogs more in the pedigrees, that health issues are outshining the traits people are trying to lock in. There are not enough experienced breeders in the AM Bully world to successfully complete the process of a line bred program IMO. If you are coming into the breed please learn the difference of line breeding and inbreeding.
