What no longer serves will collapse. What is needed will arise to take its place. That is the way of evolution, which, fortunately, happens whether we believe in it or not. Rejecting this natural principle chains us to the old, below the rising tide line of change. Realizing the instability and impermanence of things we take for granted prepares us to move along, and be ready to take advantage of the new opportunities life brings. It is good to believe in the Life Force itself and not be too attached to the present forms of culture and society.
