What to say about all that happened at the extremely successful - TopicsExpress

What to say about all that happened at the extremely successful Bookin for Lookin our own Mark McCowan pulled off today? I suppose theres a lot, actually. Though times are not up just yet, I think it is fair to say that everyone handled these races as well as possible... Not the least of whom would be Pat McCool who managed to place in his age group as his pants were falling off. With the 5k and 8 mile options, we had a good deal of people within our extended family not only show their support but also strut their stuff. Dave Redash got yelled at for it as he was doing the honorable thing and handing Bruce Linsky the medal for placing in their age group. Kinzey Lynch pulled off an age group award as well, despite dragging Charlie Tomlinson and myself along with him and then stopping at one point in an attempt to aide another struggling participant that may have cost him the overall age group winner. But lets see if I can get everyones name who was there... Amy Gillespie, Katie McCool, Garth Reid with Chris Lynch. Cedric Edwards placed in his age group. Thomas Cobb, Jennifer Leung, David April, Trish Houck, Carolyn Redmond, Greg and Missy Garber (who I mistaken called Maddy but simply because they both look so young), Hal Wrigley who also placed and of course, Mark McCowan were all there and were cheered on by the ever popular Gable the Seeing Eye Pup and Pitzie and Sheri Linsky along with Mama Lynch herself and Kaye McCowan. The 8 miler was no where near as flat as we were told and it was certainly a chilly start to the day but it all ended up beautifully with a few of us taking some hardware home but all of us knowing that we supported a great cause, spent a fantastic morning amongst friends and loved ones and all of us who were there can make fun of Mark for crying for the rest of our lives. (Just teasing you, babe.)
