Good Wednesday morning, Hopkins County area.....well, weve made it to hump day, of this week.....clear skies and 77 degrees at my house, this morning, as predicted, expect an afternoon high of a hot and humid 95 degrees, with a chance of isolated thunderstorms, at 30%, tonights low is predicted for 76 degrees and a continued 30% chance of rain!......Maybe well get some rain, to keep things growing!.....A busy day for me on Tuesday as I moved two loads of things from one place to another......came in tired last night and decided to take a late night swim, to cool off......well, things worked great until I dived into the pool and all of a sudden something hit my leg.....I liked to have jumped out of the pool....it was a bullfrog as big as my hand....It wasnt so much the frog, as the surprise of something hitting me unexpectedly.....the filter on the swimming pool may need to filter real good today!.....If you see me, you may take a double-take.....I actually got a haircut yesterday.....Its not that I dont like to get haircuts, its slowing down to get one or finding the time that I can get one in-between stories, etc.....But, I decided that I looked too ragged to go to Wisconsin.....plans are coming together for our departure on Friday......Pray for us a safe and fun trip!......Todays another busy one of getting laundry done and other last minute things done, before departure!......This morning I was drawn to the Apostle Pauls letter to the Romans, chapter 12, verse 12......Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer!.....Its a simple verse but Oh, so powerful and so hard to do at times!....God wants us to depend on Him for our needs and to look toward a future with Him. He promises that He will deliver in our times of affliction, if well just wait on Him....but how many times do we want to hurry up the process?.....And, how many times do we find that weve forgotten to pray about the things that we need? So many times we get caught up in the things of this world and in the worry of things that are happening, that we forget to depend on God to deliver us!. On this beautiful summer day, depend on the Lord, be joyful and dependent on Him and be blessed!
