What you include in your food plan is more important than what you exclude. Try to remember that foods are not good or bad, but instead some are more healthful than others. Its about balance with your choices. That being said, there are some people who will fall out of balance if they include certain foods. Hellloo!! This is me and sweets....I just have a hard time with moderation here. That doesnt mean i cant or dont have them. I just have to think extra long and hard about it when i do choose to eat them and have a plan. A healthy plan is about your overall way of eating. If you choose to indulge, or get out of control one day, you need to do better the next. Period! And try to find some balance. And please, leave the word diet at the door. If you get on a diet chances are at sometime you will get off a diet. For most people, diets = deprivation, restriction, controlled. All manipulative feelings that are not sustainable. For crying out loud! Look at the first 3 letters of the word....DIEt. Enough said :) So with the next big holiday coming up (and another right around the corner) make it your choice to have some balance with your diet. Oh yeah, and enjoy! Happy Holidays!
