Whats going on in everybodys games? I ran my 5e game (which just started two weeks ago) briefly after dinner tonight. We play short games a couple/few days a week when we can, and a long game on Friday nights. Plus I run Pathfinder on Sundays, unless a guest shows up because Sunday is Sunday Brunch Open House and Gaming at our house. Anyhow, in my 5e game tonight, my daughter Mary (age 9) is playing a dragonborn paladin, named Serena. This campaign is the first time shes min/maxed a character. I am a proud mother. Serena and I (Sage, my NPC half-elven bard) and the other three PCs are employees of the Pendleton Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), funded by the Pendleton Family Trust. A flood of unlicensed exotic pets, including species protected by law, are turning up all over in the area in which we operate, which has led us to investigate a possible smuggling ring possibly operating under a mysterious figure known only as the Black Spider. The party has little information to go on so far. We were just returning to Silverymoon after an adventure, so the session was a little bit of roleplay and a bunch of book-keeping. Last game we were going to try to intercept a shipment of animals on the way to the city, only to find that the smugglers had been ambushed on the road by goblins, who stole the animals. The goblins ambushed us, we beat them into paste, investigated further and discovered that the goblins had been hired to waylay the smuggling shipment. We returned with goblin prisoners. I gave Mary a little D&D homework, to design our little cottage (Sage and Serena are roomies) which is located in a wealthy neighborhood in Silverymoon. The whiteboard in the kitchen is filling with her ideas. :) So, what is everybody else playing and whats going on in your game stories?
