What’s New at Nook Press & IngramSpark IngramSpark IngramSpark is now letting clients select anywhere between a 30% and 55% wholesale discount. When they first launched they only allowed a 55% discount. They soon started offering a choice of either 40% or 55%. With these new choices authors and small publishers now have even greater control over their book’s pricing and it brings IngramSpark (almost) back to the the choices authors had when they could get on board with Lightning Source. It remains to be seen if that 30% offering will get an authors book into Amazon without distribution issues and “out of stock” notices. Nook Press Nook Press is now offering book printing and book design services. I do not see any distribution options with their book printing and the proces seem a little high to me. However, it may be an alternative choice for printing a small run of books quickly, or for advance author copies. nookpress I did not see much information on their author services other than their offerings which consist of book design, cover design, illustrations, and editing.
