When God Hears The Lord is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayers of the righteous. Proverbs 15:29 One of the countless, wonderful things about God is that Hes a gentleman! As powerful as He is He rarely pushes in where Hes not wanted, except in cases where justice demands it! God remains far from the wicked, for the wicked push Him away! They dont want Him around. They make choices against the Almighty and disregard His ways. then, when they land themselves in trouble with no way out, help is nowhere to be found. They choose to exclude the One who could help them. In the end, they have no one. But, when the righteous call His name, He hears! Though none of us is righteous on our own, we can claim righteousness through Jesus Christ. He alone is righteous, and He covers us like a cloak! When we call on God, He sees the righteousness that covers us through Christ and recognizes us as His children. He leans over and listens carefully to our words, because we belong to Him. He loves us! Next time it seems like God isnt listening, perhaps we should examine our hearts! Have we pushed God away? Have we accepted the price His son, Jesus Christ, paid on our behalf? If not, we cant claim righteousness. If we have, we can trust that Hes never far away! He hears us! Dear Father, thank you for making me righteous through your Son, Jesus. Amen
