When I came home from work this afternoon, I found the house clean and organized, homework done, and Ava sitting in the living room chair reading quietly on her iPad. I thought to myself This should be a mellow evening. And that was where I made my mistake. :) I decided to take Ava out for dinner, and as we were driving down the road, she suddenly grabbed my umbrella and said I shall press this button and destroy us both!. I mumbled a distracted Hmmm as I focused on the road. The next thing I knew, the umbrella was fully open and I could barely see. I told her if she ever did something that foolish again, shed be riding in the back seat from here on out. Sigh. Ava Marie, its never a dull moment with you my dear.
